In the Demon King's castle Yuri is taking a bath and uses a bottle of sweet smelling shampoo in a pink container that happens to be lying around. Yuri believes that it is his private bath so he wears no clothing which turns out to be a humiliating mistake when a blonde voluptuous lady shows up wearing only a towel. Yuri runs off naked screaming as she gets closer to him!
Later when Yuri is telling Conrad and Günter about the beautiful blonde Conrad seems exasperated and Günter can't get over Yuri only being in his towel. Günter has such "love and admiration" for Yuri that just the sight of him in his towel gives him a nosebleed. Günter suggests that he gets dressed and offers him the "standard" underwear for their country, a banana hammock! Günter can no longer contain himself and goes running off to clear his head. As Günter runs off Conrad remarks that Yuri smells absolutely fantastic.
After Yuri gets himself fully dressed he attends the dinner in his honor where he formally meets Gwendal and Wolfram the later showing a disgust for Conrad's half-human roots. Conrad's father it seems is different than Wolframs and Gwendals father and is also a human. Conrad then introduces the former Demon King Lady Cecilie von Spitzberg. It turns out that the beautiful lady he met earlier was in fact Cecilie and she is also Conrad's, Wolfram's, and Gwendal's mother. Cecilie shows a lot of affection for her boys and even calls Conrad's father a "hot hunk of stud." After Cecilie makes her rounds with her sons she starts clinging to Yuri and has to be forcibly removed by a jealous Günter.
While Yuri is using his spork-like spoon Cecilie mentions that she's been wanting to go on a "free love" cruise. When Wolfram says that Yuri isn't fit to be king Cecilie suggests that he become king instead. Wolfram then says he is not qualified and that his big brother Gwendal is much better suited to be king. During the conversation Cecilie mentions that a previous demon king had disobeyed the "great ones" orders and been punished for it. This leads Yuri to say he never wanted to be the demon king which leads Gwendal to make his suspicions known. He says that Yuri never had any intentions of carrying out his duty! This leads to wolfram wanting evidence that Yuri is the true demon king and calling Yuri's parents "filthy, unworthy humans!"
Conrad informs Wolfram that Yuri's father is a proper subordinate chosen by the demon king of Earth. But wolfram won't leave it at that he then insults Yuri's mother calling her a "cheap hussy, some street trollop who came from dubious pedigree!" Yuri gets so angry at this comment that he slaps Wolfram across the cheek. When Conrad and Günter tell him to take it back he refuses and is told that slapping on the left cheek is a proposal in this world! Wolfram gets so angry that he flings his plate and silverware off of the table and Yuri unknowingly picks up the knife to hand back to him. Unfortunately dropping or picking up a knife, even in this case a butter knife is a challenge for a duel and Yuri must fight Wolfram tomorrow. While Yuri and Wolfram are talking Cecilie tells Gwendal that she left her orchid perfume in the bath which is able to make anyone who has even the slightest feeling for you become even more passionate and bold. Essentially what that means is that if someone where to start off with a slightly malicious thought that he would become more hostile.
Later that night Conrad gives Yuri a sword to use in the duel and Yuri says it reminds him of the weight of a professional baseball bat. Conrad offers to pitch to Yuri for a while and it leads Yuri to remember a one day baseball class where he learned to catch from a professional player. When Conrad asks why Yuri doesn't play anymore Yuri tells him that he got angry and punched his coach one day. Conrad is a Boston Red socks fan and has actually been to Boston. Conrad tells Yuri that 17 years ago he was charged with protecting Yuri's soul and said that Yuri's mother was an exceptionally brave woman who was yelling at the cabbie she rode with even though she was in labor. That's when Yuri learned that Conrad was the godfather who shared his cab with his mom and mistakenly gave him his name. Yuri says that Conrad doesn't need to call him majesty because he his godfather. Conrad gives Yuri a teardrop shaped Jewel as blue as the sky.
The next day the duel begins when Yuri decides the weapon they are to duel with. Yuri takes off his shirt and announces that they will have a sumo battle! Wolfram refuses to take his shirt off but that doesn't matter because Yuri wins the battle anyway. Wolfram refuses to accept Yuri's victory and insists that he fight with swords to see who the real champion is. Yuri relates his sword fighting to base ball and beats Wolfram by swinging his sword like a bat. I guess we'd call that a home run! When Yuri suggests to call it even for the day because he's tired Wolfram gets angry and attacks him with a fireball. When Yuri dodges the fireball Wolfram uses a fire spell that forms itself into a lion. As the lion comes toward him Yuri ducks for cover and the lion mistakenly hits Doria, a maid that was passing behind him.
Yuri gets angry with Wolfram and clouds start rolling in above him. It begins to rain as Yuri starts transforming. His hair grows long, his voice gets lower, the pupils of his eyes become cat like and his face becomes older until he becomes "the Demon King." The Demon King reprimands Wolfram for his foul play and says he did not intend for this to end in bloodshed but that he must be killed now. Two coils of water shoot out of his hands and form themselves into snake-like creatures that grab Wolfram in a python-like grasp. As they hold him in the air the word "justice" is spelled out in water above Wolframs head. Gwendal who had allowed the match to go on in order to test Yuri is impressed with the demon kings powers and now believes that he is fit to be king. The demon king commands Wolfram to change his ways and passes out becoming Yuri again. The water snakes vanish when Yuri is passed out and Wolfram is dropped to the ground.
3 days later Yuri wakes up in his bed chambers with no memory of becoming the demon king. Luckily for Doria, Gwendal had the foresight to cast a magical barrier over her so she is going to be fine and will be able to get back to work in a few days. At the end we see Wolfram being as obstinate as ever and Gwendal and Conrad riding off to somewhere unknown.
