Commander of the army, divine tactician and loyal countryman Gwendal von Voltaire was born in the Great Demon Kingdom to Lady Cecilie von Spitzberg. Gwendal became the Demon Kings General at an early age and is often seen taking on any responsibility that Gunter is unable to accomplish. Gwendal's childhood was filled with anguish over his wandering step-father causing him to retreat into practice with his sword and knitting. It is unknown when Gwendal developed a fondness for anything cute but that doesn't stop him and his gruff demeanor from taking care of necessary business.
