Episode 1: The Uninvited Date Added: 03-16-07

A young man awakens to find himself injured, with out any memories in a small village called Yamayura on the edge of the kingdom of Kenashkolpe. He also discovers he's wearing an odd mask that he is unable to remove. A young woman by the name of Eluluu and her grandma Tuskuru help the young man to recover even though they themselves are dealing with unruly soldiers.

Episode 2: Ruler of the Wild Forrest

When the soldiers upset the god of the forest by destroying one of her shrines the nearby villages pay for it in blood. The deity named Yahnaun Kami is a Mutikapa; a tiger shaped beast with impenetrable fur is determined to satiate her hunger on the helpless villagers. The recently named Hakuoro takes it upon himself to defend the villagers by hunting down and killing the beast. Will he be able to remove this threat or will he be slaughtered with the rest?

Episode 3: Violet and Amber

When lady Tuskuru goes missing Hakuoro must go and find her. When he comes across the old lady he learns that she's been visiting a young sickly girl, named Yuzuha and her often impetuous older brother called Oboro. Unfortunately the sickness the girl has is rare and she often needs expensive medicines. What will become of this girl and is there anything Hakuoro can do to help?

Episode 4: One-Way Path

When Nuwangi leads Sasante's forces into town he starts a series of events leading to someone's death. Enraged by the death, Hakuoro leads the villagers in an assault on Sasantes castle. Will the villagers survive against the numerous troops of the castle and if they succeed will the empire demand retribution?

Episode 5: Daughter of the Forrest

The villagers are preparing for battle, repairing the fortress and training for the fight. Hakuoro, Oboro and the twins go off to a nearby village to ask for support. When they arrive however they find the village in shambles and General Benawi waiting for their arrival. Will they survive the general and his troops?

Episode 6: Gathering Force

Many villagers on this side of the checkpoint are coming to join forces with Hakuoro's forces. Unfortunately they don't have enough fighters to attack the emperor so they must look to the villagers on the other side of the checkpoint for support. But in order to reach the other villages Hakuoro must capture the checkpoint for his side. Will their forces be enough when Benawi is leading the opposing troops?

Episode 7: Invasion of the Imperial City

Hakuoro and his forces continue to win key battles eventually working their way to the capital city. They begin their fight losing many men trying to take the castle. When Hakuoro makes it to the inner castle in search of the emperor he runs into Benawi, who is determined to stop him at all cost. Will their forces be enough to conquer the castle and will Hakuoro be able to get past Benawi?

Episode 8: The Mediator

Urutori comes to the palace claiming to be from the Unkamiyamukai (mediators) and stays to find out about the new emperor and his people. A girl named Camus tags along and decides she wants to become friends with Aruruu. What will the representative of the high temple think about the newly formed people and their untested ruler?

Episode 9: Taboo

Emperor Niwa's army invades bringing with them an unnecessary war. Hakuoro is forced to take the less honorable path in order to deal with their forces. When he breaks a taboo Eluluu must come to accept this side of his nature. Will his ploy work or will the emperor surprise him with his own underhanded tactics?

Episode 10: The Mercenary

A ship arrives from Na Tuunk bearing on it a woman named Karula who is wearing a collar around her neck. She is found among many dead sailors and is the only survivor. When it turns out she has incredible strength everyone worries that she will destroy them. Will Hakuoro be able to reason with her or will she find him unacceptable and kill him?
